The Academy for Sustainable Communities, powered by the Centre for Civil Society and Governance at The University of Hong Kong, is a well-recognised collaborative platform locally, nationally and regionally for our solid and systemic impact attained in most of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
The Academy offers training and incubation on three core clusters of expertise – "Corporate Sustainability and Circularity", "Innovations for Sustainability", and "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion". Some of the training programmes are jointly offered with non-governmental organisations and professional associations trailblazing in sustainable development.
The Academy adopts a holistic learning strategy, providing participants with not only ample experiential activities to learn and practice the knowledge of sustainability issues but also opportunities to establish cross-sectoral collaborations.
